Specialist Sports College
Welcome to the Sports College
We are now in our fifth year of Sports College Status, and have one again received the Sport England Sportsmark Award (this too for the fifth time in succession). This is the latest in a line of awards that the Sports College has achieved, demonstrating our continued commitment to improving sporting standards and opportunities at Cliff Park High.
We were joined in receiving the Sportsmark by 17 other schools in the East Norfolk Sports Partnership, which is based here at Cliff Park High, and for whom we are the hub site for 41 feeder schools.
Our overall mission is to:
- Raise standards of Teaching and Learning;
- Increase personalised opportunities across the curriculum;
- Improve attendance and house ethos;
- Increase leadership opportunities;
- Encourage healthy lifestyles;
- Develop international links;
- Provide opportunities for gifted & talented athletes;
- Improve standards of literacy;
- Improve participation in a range of activities;
- Extend partnerships with our family of schools and the local community.
